President Bush Reacts to Osama Bin Laden’s Death with Will Ferrell (Video)

President Obama and the Abused Girlfriend Syndrome

Obama and BushEveryone knows a girl who loves dating assholes and despite all the abuse they take, they refuse to admit how fucking stupid they are to keep dating a douchbag. Typically, their excuse is, “But I love him!”… as if that explains why they refuse to accept the reality of their situation or the repetition of their mistakes.

Yesterday, President Obama demonstrated his own form of Abused Girlfriend Syndrome. Faced with the undeniable repudiation of his own Presidency, following the crushing defeat in the Massachusetts vote, Obama told George Stephanopolis that the voters were reacting to the last eight years of government. Yes, Beefanatics, President Obama, our Girlfriend-in-Chief, blamed the loss of Ted Kennedy’s seat on George Bush.

What we have here is a demonstration of a complete inability for President Obama to take any responsibility for his own actions. Obama is incapable of even acknowledging that we don’t care for or want his socialist policies. What the Tea Party protesters proved last year, and the voters in Massachusetts shouted on Tuesday, is that the majority of us are fucking fed up with the direction of our government… and brother… like it or not… Obama is The Government.

President Obama gives, “But they love me!” as his excuse for denying reality. How many years is it going to take for Obama to admit that he’s in charge and that our voice and our elections are a reaction to him and his policies? According to Obama, we’re still in the Bush Administration. Once again, I ask that President Obama nut-up and act like a man, instead of a lovesick abused girlfriend. I think we all know by now that he’s not going to do that. His ego won’t allow the possibility that we don’t love him.

President Clinton learned from his mistakes and sought the center after the 1994 elections, and ruled for eight years. President Obama seems unwilling to learn from his mistakes which means he will join President Carter in the dustbin of history as a failure. Despite the masturbatory fantasies of progressives, America is still a center-right country, and ruling from the far left is a recipe for disaster.

Don’t Let a Good Crisis go to Waste

Pelosi_SebeliusOn Sunday, Meet the Press featured Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius talking about the Health Care legislation that is currently in congress. What the Obama Administration and congress tells us is that the purpose of the legislation is to cut health care costs. Okay. Good.

When “Meet the Press” moderator David Gregory pointed out, three times, that the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says that the Health Care legislation will do nothing to cut costs, and may actually drive costs up, Kathleen Sebelius’ only response was this legislation was a work-in-progress and that we would get to the cost-cutting down the road. Then, in the same fucking interview, Sebelius stressed how important it was to pass this legislation AS FAST AS POSSIBLE to help the economy by cutting costs!

Uhmmm… didn’t we just establish that the Health Care legislation DOESN’T HELP CUT COSTS?!!!

Have you noticed that everything… EVERYTHING, is now justified by telling you that we desperately need new legislation to save the economy? And more importantly, it must be done as quickly as possible. The Omnibus Government Spending bill had to be passed as quick as possible for the sake of the economy. The Stimulus Spending bill had to be passed as quick as possible for the sake of the economy. The Waxman/Markey Cap and Trade Tax bill had to be passed as quick as possible for the sake of the economy. Now, the Health Care Reform bill has to be passed as quick as possible to save us from the evil economy.

All of the bills I just mentioned are designed to do anything but help the economy. The Cap and Trade bill alone could decimate the economy by placing the largest tax on the backs of Americans in the history of the country (and it affects everyone from the dirty poor to the filthy rich). The Omnibus bill saddled the country with a budget-busting spending spree. The Stimulus bill was touted as the only thing that could save us from having over 8% unemployment, and now we’re well on our way to 10% unemployment nationwide. Do you see a pattern Beefanatics?

In March, Chief of Staff Raum Emanuel said “You never want a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton quickly followed Emanuel’s statement by saying, “Never waste a good crisis,” in front of the European Parliament. The Obama Administration isn’t even hiding the fact that they seek to use fear to pass whatever their pet legislation is! Solving the problem is NOT THE GOAL! Taking away your liberties and grabbing unprecedented power is the overarching goal of everything that is coming out of congress and being signed by President Obama.

And what’s the rush? Simply put, our leaders know that we’re not paying attention right now and that everyone is basking in the glow of a new President, with oodles of charisma. The press is happy because they got their guy. People are more concerned with Michelle Obama’s toned arms, and Michael Jackson dying and an ugly woman who has a pretty voice on Britain’s Got Talent. Yes, we’re concerned with the economy, but we assume that our leaders have our best interests at heart, so we let them do their thing while they steal our freedom right under our noses. The longer they wait to pass the Health Care legislation the more likely that we will wake up and cry foul… in fact, it’s starting to happen already.

I know some people don’t want to believe that their leaders are on a power-grab and using fear to accomplish their goals. I know that some people want to believe that I’m only picking on our current leaders, because that would allow them to ignore me and the facts. However, using fear to justify restriction of our civil liberties and grab power has been around long before Obama. “The War on Drugs,” established by the Nixon Administration, and carried through until today, has given lawmakers all kinds of new powers that are explicitly not allowed by the Constitution. “The War on Terror,” established during the Bush Administration, has been used to justify vast expanded powers over the populace and shady international policy. Do you really feel safer with Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration, or do you feel lighter in the wallet and more harassed than ever?

Now the pendulum has swung the other direction and the Obama Administration wants to use fear to control business, energy and health care. These leaders are so brazen they are actually telling you straight out that they are using this crisis to steal your liberties! I don’t care if its conservative pet projects or liberal pet projects, lying to us for the purpose of destroying our civil rights and expanding the powers of government is never acceptable.

The next time you hear the talking points “economic crisis” or “we have to pass this legislation as quickly as possible,” then please take a moment and look at what they are proposing. If it grows government or gives them expanded powers over some aspect of your life, then it’s complete bullshit. It’s a power grab.

Just a simple reminder from your friendly neighborhood Beefboy!

Sally Kern and Why Republicans are Stupid

sally_kernOklahoma state representative Sally Kern gathered with some Holy Rollers in the rotunda of the Oklahoma legislature this last weekend and gave the world a “Proclamation For Morality,” sang some hymns and sacrificed a goat – or something. The gist of the piece (below) was a litany of quotes from our Founding Fathers about God and some spurious and fallacious statements about the connection between morality and gays and the economy (no, I’m not making that up, again you can read it at the end of my article). So what is the role of religion in government and in the Republican party? Sit back, relax, enjoy, and let the Beefboy do, what the Beefboy does best… and that’s break it right on down for you!

Sally Kern, and her desire to create law “by The Book”, is a relic of a bygone age. I keep hoping that Natural or Un-Natural Selection will rid us of the Religousaurus in politics, but we haven’t had a good extinction-level event yet. Let me say that I have no problem at all with Sally and her ilk delivering a “Proclamation For Morality” from her local church, or sacrificing goats for that matter, but when you bring that silliness into a legislative body, then you insult the Founding Fathers who fought so hard to keep us from having wizards, clerics and popes dictate law.

Frankly Sally, if you want religion in your government, then you should look into a move to Iran. They’re big on morality too! You’ll love it! Of course, you’ll have no freedom whatsoever and you’ll have no rights as a woman, but by Allah… you’ll have some fucking morality!!!

Meanwhile, let’s look at the bigger picture. Sally Kern is one reason (but only one!) that Republicans are stupid. Over the past nine months, starting with Bush and the Democratic Congress, and continuing with Obama, they have spent money like Paris Hilton on vacation in Paris, France. The nutsacks in charge have expanded the spending and the role of government like never before, rapidly creating a socialist utopia that will enslave and impoverish the United States in record time.

If you are in the opposition party (unfortunately we only have two legitimate parties), now is the time to be the voice of REASON. Republicans have an opportunity to gain ground by appealing to people who are upset at the explosion of government spending and a government who is creeping far outside of the limits imposed by our Constitution. Instead, you have Republican Governor Mark Sanford travelling to Venezuela to fuck hot Latinas, Republican Governor Sarah Palin quitting her job mid-stream because only “dead fish go with the flow” and Sally Kern wagging her finger at us because women are not wearing burkas in strip clubs. Sally and the gang are focused on bullshit and other Republican leaders are doing everything under the sun to undermine the most important message.

Republican stupidity is stunning! You’d think after getting their pious ass reamed in the congressional elections of 2006, or the presidential elections of 2008, that the GOP would consider dropping bullshit like “Proclamations of Morality” and try to appeal to people who want LESS GOVERNMENT! Some people never learn and I could care less if Republicans ever get in power again, as long as we get a viable third party who can focus on what’s important instead of devising new ways for government to spend my money or tell me what to do.

And finally, to Sally and her supporters, I leave you with the words of Jesus, who said, “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.”

Dig it! Amen.

Oh, and Sally, I’m also making you the Beefboy’s Nutsack of the Moment. Congratulations!

Diplomacy 101: Weakness Invites Disrespect

Protests Grow in Iran

Protests Grow in Iran

The Foreign Ministry communicated Iran’s “protest and displeasure” over statements by U.S. government officials about the outcome of last week’s presidential vote, Iran’s news agency said. Meanwhile, North Korea may launch a long-range ballistic missile toward Hawaii in early July, a Japanese news report said Thursday. What do both of these stories have in common? Sit back, relax, relax, enjoy, and let the Beefboy do, what the Beefboy does best, and that’s break it right on down for you!

President Bush removed the “State Sponsor of Terrorism” label from North Korea, which allowed the Munchkin King, Kim Jong-il, to acquire frozen assets and fund this latest round of underground nuclear tests and long range missile tests. President Obama offered an olive branch to Iran, and has issued extremely weak statements about Iran’s little bogus election, and his attempt to stay out of the process have been met with “protest and displeasure” by their Supreme Leader.

Let’s turn back the clock a bit and look at two other Presidents and how a display of strength had positive results. In October of 1962 President Kennedy ordered a blockade of Cuba to prevent missiles from being delivered. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, America’s alert level went to Defcon 2, for the only time in history, but Russia backed down due to Kennedy’s resolve and thanks to him we don’t have Russian missiles sitting off our coast. On June 12, 1987, against the warnings of his advisors, President Reagan spoke at the Berlin Wall and said, “General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Russia tore down that wall in 1989 and the Soviet Union collapsed two years later.

The lesson that Kennedy and Reagan taught us, and Presidents Bush and Obama failed to heed, is that strength demands respect, and conversely weakness invites disrespect. Given the nature of the opponents that we face, and the turmoil in the world, we need to remember the words and actions of our Presidents who stood their ground and didn’t play nice with dictators.
We are increasingly confronted with regimes that understand nothing but power. When we show them kindness, it is interpreted as weakness. North Korea and Iran only understand the consequences of facing true strength. In a contest of strength, NATO is an 800 pound gorilla, while Iran and North Korea is a banana.

I understand the sentiment behind offering what President Obama calls “an unclenched fist” to our enemies, but some people only see the light when you break their nose. It’s time for President Obama to man-up and lay down the law. Terrorists, and countries like Iran and North Korea, need to be reminded who is running the show around here.

Dig it!

Obama Changes His Mind

gitmoI’m giving President Obama props for having the courage to stand against the loony left and not release any more of the Iraq detention photos from Abu Ghraib. How old are those photos anyway? The people who crossed the line have been discovered and punished. The prison was shut down and re-opened under Iraqi authority. Those photos serve no purpose whatsoever, unless you want to endanger the life of soldiers who are serving over there right now!

Congratulations to President Obama for doing the difficult thing and standing against his party on this. However, while the President has stood in the way of releasing these photos, he did NOT issue an executive order which would have slammed this shut entirely. Only time will tell if this was merely a gesture or a solution.

The President also made the decision to allow Bush-era military tribunals to resume. Coupled with the fact that no one wants terrorists to be stored in their home state, and the fact that the Guantanamo Bay prison has tribunal facilities, makes closing down Gitmo more difficult, blatantly political and downright stupid.

See, once again, we are confronted with the reality of governing, versus campaign rhetoric. It sure is easy to call former President Bush an Evil Genius/Ignorant Cowboy, but when reality comes knocking, President Obama is rapidly adopting Bush policy to deal with terrorism. To his credit, Obama is changing his mind and leaving extreme left-wing organs to twitch in the wind.

The Beefboy is grabbing a large bag of microwave popcorn and sitting down to enjoy the Hypocrisy Show, as Obama supporters do Olympic-level contortions to justify why Bush policy was evil, but the same policy, under Obama, is enlightened and humane.

Gotcha, Nutsacks!

Black Helicopter Talk with The Beefboy

ben_bernankeI think it’s time to consider the possibility that our leaders want the stock market to crash. Every time it looks like there is going to be some recovery, Ben Bernanke, Hank Paulson, Timothy Geithner, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, George Bush or Barrack Obama gets in front of a camera and starts talking down the economy, reinforcing how much we need more taxes, passing mammoth spending bills and telling you how evil capitalism is.

I own my own public business and things were going fine until the Democratic led Congress and President George Bush passed the TARP bill in October and started telling us how tragic the economy was. Our phones stopped ringing THE NEXT DAY and it’s been downhill ever since.

All I can say is, if you came to the Beefboy and asked me for a recipe for tanking the economy, I’d do EXACTLY WHAT OUR LEADERS ARE DOING NOW. For six months, our leaders have made a series of decisions that are the polar opposite of what we know is effective in getting an economy to fire up again.

And by the way, enough of blaming Bush for the stock market. Either you are a leader or a whiner… and the Beefboy is hearing a lot of fucking whining from the White House. The stock market doesn’t bet on the past… they bet on the future and the market is down 20% since Obama got into office. Wall Street doesn’t vote with platitudes, it votes with cold hard cash, and right now, the vote is thumbs down!

Our leaders are either stark raving idiots, or they are doing this on purpose to advance their own pet projects and take power away from you.

Pick one.

Senator Chris Dodd has the audacity to blame President Bush for the abject failure of the TARP spending bill to loosen up the credit market. If you’re keeping track, that’s 350 billion dollars that was thrown to the wind in your name and mine! Ironically enough, Chris Dodd is ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WROTE THE LEGISLATION. Yes, Chris Dodd is in fact responsible for the wasted $350 billion.

Members of Congress, including Chris Dodd and Barney Frank, are largely responsible for the economic mess in the first place! Yet Dodd has the nerve to blame Bush and herald himself as above it all. Dodd is not addressing the Beefboy and the Beefanatics though – we know better. Dodd is talking directly to the idiot masses who get their “news” from Jon Stewart, Saturday Night Live and left wing blogs! Dodd is talking to people who don’t have a fucking clue what’s happening in this world.

Chris Dodd and Barney Frank couldn’t run a successful snow cone stand if they had 10 million dollars and Megan Fox serving in a bikini! Congress is on a spending orgy with YOUR MONEY Beefanatics! Did Lindsay Lohan take over spending appropriations? All semblance of sense or reason has been tossed out the door! Fuck EVERYTHING! It’s spending time! Has anyone picked up a calculator and added up how much of YOUR MONEY that congress is offering everyone on the planet?

- 250 billion for a stimulus package

- 700 billion for “bailing out” the financial sector

- 25 billion for the auto industry (maybe more to come)

- AIG took a 25 billion dollar dip and then came back for more!

Now they want another trillion dollar stimulus package!

Members of congress have absolutely lost their fucking minds! Do you realize that our yearly budget is 3 trillion dollars? With a war in Iraq and Afghanistan, Social Security rapidly becoming insolvent and all of the new programs that Democrats are itching to pass, how the hell are we ever going to pay for all of that?!!!

Moreover, does it concern anyone that the method for generating this debt is to sell Treasury bonds to China and print money like its rolls of toilet paper?

Seriously, Beefanatics… go buy a gun, pay off your debt and get your zombie apocalypse emergency kit together. You’re going to need it soon.

The Fantasy Interview

Originally Published: February 2, 2009

rollingstonebushThe January 22nd, 2009 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine has an illustration of President Bush on the cover with these exact words, “EXCLUSIVE! BUSH APOLOGIZES – The Farewell Interview We Wish He’s Give – By Matt Tiabbi”

I have some big problems with this mock interview. At best, this is a masturbatory exercise by Matt Tiabbi. I’m sure he wrote this “interview” with his boxers around his ankles and a bottle of lotion close by. Any pretense at journalistic integrity is officially dead and should be buried along with the Bush Presidency. The indignant nature that the press answers allegations of abject bias should be countered with this article and sound bites of NBC election coverage that includes, but is not limited to, Chris Mathews admitting that he “feels a tingle” go up his leg when he listens to Obama speak.

There’s enough disconnect between reality and fantasy regarding the general public and politics as it is. I had one woman come into my office, pick up the issue, say, “He’s not smiling now,” and walk out! It’s a fucking ILLUSTRATED COVER (above) for fucks sake! They could have made him green, or give him sticks for hair, OR MAKE HIM LOOK SAD!

Furthermore, that co-worker is a good example of the general populace, who get their political news from Oprah and John Stewart and SNL. They are so fired up and confident about their opinions but it’s all based on half truths, bullshit and comedy. People don’t pay attention and they don’t get any more information than sound bites and the headline. If Rolling Stone has a forlorn Bush on the cover with the words “Bush Apologizes” most people will accept that as fact and go watch American Idol. And Rolling Stone KNOWS THAT!

A hundred years ago we had to deal with Yellow Journalism, which was the practice of running sensationalistic headlines in lieu of hard news. Now, we’ve got that, but it’s coupled with an exceptionally short attention span from a misinformed, ignorant and uninterested populace, and a tendency of the media to break everything into sound bites and presenting fantasy scenarios or comedy as real news. The Beefboy calls that Nano Journalism (trademark and copyright 2009 by the Beefboy) and it’s dangerous.

So, to demonstrate the absurdity and power of Nano Journalism, the Beefboy is going to conduct a series of Interviews I Wish I’d Done. Stay Tuned.

He’s certainly capable of that, but I think he’s keeping his powder dry for the State of the Union.

The greatest achievement today is the United States proving to the world what a peaceful transfer of power looks like. Obama was sworn in with Bush and several other former Presidents present. There were no bombs, or threats, or bullshit. There were no tanks, or riots, or deaths. We did it in a way that only civilized countries, with great people and great tradition do it. We fired off some cannons to bring the new guy in, shook hands, gave a speech and then retired to a bunch of parties for the rest of the evening.

Simple. Peaceful.

I want you to imagine for a moment that you are the guy who vowed to protect the United States today. You go dance with your wife and head back to your new house (and it’s a big empty house). You’re tired from a long campaign and shaking hands and delivering speeches. You go to sleep and wake up the next day, grab some coffee and someone in your staff hands you the President’s Daily Brief that tells you just how fucked up the world is today.

Even with all the power you now have and all the goodwill you want to bring to the planet… that has to be the loneliest job on the Earth. I wish President Obama all the luck and wisdom possible… he’s going to need it.

I’ll tell you one thing. If you looked out at that crowd today and saw the throngs of people who stood for hours in 19 degree weather to glimpse the first black President deliver words of hope to a frightened nation… a frightened planet, then you’ll understand why I’m proud to be an American today.
