Apparently,
Billie Piper started out as a pop star in the UK. I found out
about her through the US release of Doctor Who, where she plays
his companion.
While
I'm a big sci-fi geek, I have to say that Billie Piper is a
major reason that I stayed tuned to Dr. Who, and eventually
fell in love with her (and the show).
